What happens to the funds in the pool if no market participant wins?

In a scenario where no market participant has won, the funds will be moved to the next market for the same asset when it goes live.

Let's say a HYPE market had:

  • A $5,000 prize pool

  • A winning range of 35-40

  • A market duration of 7 days

At the end of the 7-day period, no users purchased tickets within the winning range (35-40). Since there were no winners, the entire $5,000 prize pool rolls over to the next immediate HYPE market that also has a 7-day duration.

This means the new HYPE market will start with a larger prize pool, including both its original allocation and the rolled-over amount.
